Introducing Our Plugin Suite: Free Tools for WordPress Developers
Why We Built These Plugins
Every plugin in our suite started with a real frustration.
The Problem with WooCommerce Stores
We were managing a mid-size WooCommerce store that imported products from a supplier catalog weekly. After six months, we had accumulated over 800 duplicate products — a mix of re-imports, manual additions by the client team, and a botched migration from an old system.
The existing solutions were either overly complex, broke the site, or simply didn't detect the duplicates reliably. So we built Delete Duplicate Products for WooCommerce.
The CPT Slug Nightmare
A client asked us to change the URL structure of their portfolio CPT — from /portfolio/ to /work/ — six months after launch. What should have been a 5-minute code change turned into a 3-hour SEO cleanup involving redirect rules, sitemap updates, and fixing internal links.
The next time a client asked, we had CPTSM Slug Manager ready: a visual tool that handles the slug change and provides a clear view of all CPTs before you touch anything.
The Content Audit Problem
Running SEO audits for content-heavy WordPress sites kept revealing the same issue: dozens or hundreds of near-duplicate posts created by different content contributors over the years. Not exact duplicates — just posts covering the same topic with 60-70% content overlap.
Melopo Duplicate Cleaner was born from that need. It performs database-level scanning to catch both exact and near-duplicates.
Our Philosophy: Honest Freemium
We believe in giving you real value for free. That's why:
- The free versions are genuinely useful — not "lite" versions designed to frustrate you into upgrading
- We don't remove features from free versions when we add Pro features
- The Pro tier is for power users who need automation, bulk operations, and priority support
What's Coming Next
We're working on:
- A unified dashboard plugin — manage all three plugins from one screen
- WP-CLI integration for developers who prefer the command line
- A plugin bundle at a discounted price
